Abstract
This study uses the R&D method with the ADDIE model design which is limited by researchers to only 4 stages, namely (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation). The data collection instrument was obtained from a questionnaire filled out by three validators to test the validation of material, design and language as well as teacher and student responses to test practicality. The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed quantitatively and then changed the calculation results obtained into qualitative data to determine product quality. The results of the validation of material experts obtained presentations of 91,3%, design experts 87,9% and linguists 86,1%. So it shows that the developed module is very valid. While the results of practicality based on the teacher's response questionnaire obtained a presentation of 89,3% and student response questionnaires obtained a presentation of 81,6%. This shows that the teaching materials developed very practical are used in the learning process. Based on the results of the assessment by the validator, teacher and student responses, the teaching materials in the form of Riau Malay culture-based learning modules on the subject matter of circles in class VIII SMP/MTs meet valid and practical criteria.
