Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is an aggressive behavior and deviate from social norms and legal norms committed by juveniles as well as the impact on the loss of adolescents themselves or another person, physically and psychologically. Religiosity is the state of a person who makes such a person can behave, act and behave against the rules and norms according to religious teachings. The functioning of the family consisted of six dimensions such as: problem solving, communication, roles, the ability to react, effective engagement, and behavior control. This study aims to determine the relationship between family functioning and religiosity against juvenile delinquency in SMPN 2 Kerinci Kanan. The subjects were young students of SMPN 2 Kerinci Kanan. The number of samples in this study was 161 people. The sampling technique random sampling with a 5% error.Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the regression analysis of F 35.410 with p 0.000 (p <0.01) in showing that there is a relationship between family functioning and religiosity with juvenile delinquency SMPN 2 Kerinci Kanan.
