Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of BUMDes governance on improving the economy of Lambangsari I, II, III Villages, Lirik District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. BUMDes governance research indicators used include cooperative, participatory, emancipatory, transparent, accountable and sustainable. The economic improvement indicators used include improving the community's economy and providing venture capital assistance. The type of research used is descriptive survey research with quantitative research methods because researchers collect by analyzing data and explaining the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable or more. The sampling technique used in this study used a purposive sampling technique with 20 respondents. The data collection method used is by distributing questionnaires and observing the respondents. The analysis technique used is a simple linear analysis technique. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, the results show that the t-count is smaller than the t-table (-0.075 <2.100), which means that there is no significant influence between BUMDes governance on improving the village economy. The R square(r2) value of 0.000 (0%) explains that BUMDes management has no effect on increasing the village economy by 0%, which means that there are other factors or variables not examined in this study. From the conclusions obtained in this study, the authors provide advice to BUMDes management and village officials, it is hoped that they can work together to be able to develop and preserve the BUMDes business that has been carried out and add businesses that can improve the village economy.
