Abstract

The high number of abortions among adolescents is due to the lack of early sex education and minimal religious knowledge. Some of the things that result in unwanted pregnancies in adolescents include promiscuity without parental control which results in the teenager feeling free to do whatever he wants. The purpose of this study is to find out how the abortion process is performed on X and Y perpetrators. The study was conducted using qualitative methods with the main data of the study obtained through interviews with the spouses of abortionists and who helped the couples of the perpetrators perform abortions in the Pekanbaru city campus area. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the abortion performed by this perpetrator occurred because of the perpetrator's unpreparedness to have children and was responsible for what he had done. This also refers to the results of being out of wedlock, and also still in college. The existence of abortion methods such as buying medicine, using pineapple, and strenuous exercise makes this action abused to give birth to the womb.
