Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the Contribution of Limb Muscle Explosive Power to Football Passing and Stopping Ability in Extracurricular Students of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkalis. The type of this research is correlation. The population and sample in this research were extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkalis, totaling 20 people. The research instrument used was a standing broad jump test and a football passing and stopping running test. Based on the results of the research, the conclusions obtained in this study are: Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the following conclusions can be drawn: There is a contribution of leg muscle power to football passing and stopping skills in extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkalis with a value of rcount = 0.542 > rtable = 0.444 medium category with KD value = 29.38%.
