Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out how governance and financial performance are at the Pangkalan Kerinci District office, Pelalawan Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The results of the study show that (1) The implementation of transparency at the Pangkalan Kerinci District Office is good, where there are announcements of APBD policies, provision of easily accessible budget and income documents, timely accountability reports, accommodation of community voices/suggestions and provision of information to the public (2 ) The implementation of accountability at the Pangkalan Kerinci District Office is good because of the ability to present information on government administration in an open, fast, accurate manner, able to provide optimal services for the public, able to provide space for the community, able to explain and account for every public policy, and able to provide facilities for public to assess government performance (3) Financial performance at the Pangkalan Kerinci District Office is already good because of the achievement of predetermined performance targets, performance monitoring and evaluation, financial performance measures as guidelines for the process of government agency activities, and objective decision making.
