Abstract
The accounting process at SMP Rusqah Pekanbaru only record transactions, do not do journals. Starting recording financial transactions into the daily cash book, then transferred to the book recapitulation of receipts and disbursements of funds. Prepared financial reports SMP Rusqah Pekanbaru, namely profit and loss reports and balance reports. The purpose of this research is to find out how the accounting applied by Rusqah Pekanbaru Middle School is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The required data type is data primary and secondary data, data collection techniques by way of direct interviews and documentation. The findings of this study are Rusqah Pekanbaru Middle School, not making journal, does not calculate the depreciation of fixed assets owned by the school. Based on research conducted by the author that SMP Rusqah Pekanbaru have not applied generally accepted accounting principles.
