Abstract

Government financial reports are reports that are accounted for by the public sector or government. Accountability Report is a document that is prepared or written with the aim of informing the implementation of an activity, where later the report will be submitted to a higher or equivalent agency to account for the activities carried out. The purpose of this research is to analyze the performance of employees in the finance department in preparing accountability reports at the regional secretariat of Rokan Hilir Regency. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Based on the results of research conducted, it is known that the quality of work owned by employees of the finance department of the Regional Secretariat of Rokan Hilir Regency needs to be improved because in doing work there are still many errors such as incorrectly inputting the activity expense account code. Not only that, in the financial section of the Regional Secretariat of Rokan Hilir Regency there are still employees who do not really understand how to run the application for making the SPJ. The integrity of the employees is quite good, this can be seen from the ability of employees to carry out their respective duties. The delay in the preparation of the SPJ is due to the many tasks that also need to be completed by the financial officer of the Regional Secretariat of Rokan Hilir Regency.
