Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Effectiveness of the Mosquito Nest Fogging Spraying Program to Overcome Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) by the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Section of the Pekanbaru City Health Office (Case Study in Marpoyan Damai District). This research uses descriptive research type with quantitative analysis. The indicators used are Aspects of Tasks and Functions, Aspects of Plans and Programs, Aspects of Provisions and Regulations, Aspects of Objectives and Ideal Conditions. The types and techniques of data collection used consisted of primary data collected by means of questionnaires and interviews, as well as secondary data collected by observation. The data analysis technique used is Quantitative Descriptive. Based on the results of observations, questionnaires, and interviews in the study of the Effectiveness of the Mosquito Nest Fogging Spraying Program to Overcome Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) by the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Section of the Pekanbaru City Health Office (Case Study of Marpoyan Damai District), it can be concluded that the Aspects of Duties and Functions have been in accordance with the Handbook from the Pekanbaru City Health Office such as fogging is carried out 2 times a week intervals, Plan and Program Aspects have been carried out well in socialization to the community, the community participates in PSN and fogging staff use PPE properly, Provisions and Regulations Aspects have been carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health, Pekanbaru City Health Office, and WHO, and the Aspects of Purpose and Ideal Conditions have been carried out quite effectively with the implementation of the fogging machine that is used in good condition, fogging is carried out at a radius of 200 meters, this is in accordance with the existing guidebook .
