Abstract
The development of housing in the Tuah Karya Sub-District is currently growing quite rapidly which is marked by the large number of residents arriving each year in this area which then causes a very large need for land so that after land use is used for example housing and survival so that there are many influences that occur in this area such as the influence of land use. As a result of the rampant land use in this area, it automatically becomes an influence on the survival of both the social and economic conditions that occur in this area. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method. The first research objective will use descriptive analysis method with the help of Arcgis software. In this first objective, the author will examine how the housing development process that occurs in the Tuah Karya Village uses Arcgis. While the second research objective will use a simple scoring analysis method. In giving weights and scoring used a Likert scale. The results of distributing questionnaires from a total of 100 respondents, more than 50 respondents stated that it had an effect on housing development in the Tuah Karya Village. Both in terms of community income opportunities and in terms of other supporting influences such as in terms of education level, health facilities, and social interaction of the people in Tuah Karya Village. Tuah Karya Village, Pekanbaru City has the potential for a fairly dense population, many residents from outside come to continue their lives so that land is also needed to build residential areas from 2012 - 2022.
