Abstract

Along with the development of the times and sophisticated technology, it has a big impact on everyday life, especially for teenagers. Glue abuse is one of the alternative forms of delinquency for teenagers that are often encountered. This is because the price is cheaper compared to other drugs such as marijuana, methamphetamine, ecstasy which have expensive prices, of course sucking glue is a teenager's choice to get the same sensation at a more affordable price. The misuse of the glue also has a dangerous impact with these drugs which can cause physical and psychological disturbances for these teenagers to develop. The theory used is sociogenic theory and subcultural theory. The research method that the author uses in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results obtained by researchers in this study are that gangs play a very important role in shaping gluing behavior in adolescents because curiosity and easy imitation of teenagers causes them to easily fall into glue behavior. The existence of gangs makes them easily fall into this. The main factor causing the creation of nagging behavior is environmental factors, where generally these gang members consist of children who are not in school and drop out of school, so that each gang member's behavior affects other gang members.
