Abstract

This study aims to create a mathematics learning device in the form of student worksheets (LKPD) using the Eliciting Activities Model for VII grade junior high school algebra materials that are tested and valid. The development of learning tools in this study adopted the R&D development method, which was divided into 8 stages, namely (1) potential and problems; (2) data collection; (3) product design; (4) design verification; (5) design modification, (6) product trial, (7) product revision, (8) final product. The data collection tool used is validation data from 2 expert validators of mathematics education lecturers at FKIP UIR and 1 teacher from related schools, and for practicality, LKPD is distributed to Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Bangkinang. The data analysis technique used is validation data analysis. From the results of the study, the results of the LKPD validation are 86,62% count with a very valid category. Based on the results of this study, it was obtained that the mathematics learning device with the Eliciting Activities Model on the algebraic form material in class VII SMP was tested valid.
