Abstract
Song Guide Woman is one of the jobs that is currently happening in Pekanbaru City which is a phenomenon in itself. This song guide is synonymous with sexy clothes and is often considered a deviant job. Departing from the motive, this Song Guide Woman explains the work they do. This study aims to determine the motives of the Song Guide Woman working as a Song Guide Woman, the meaning of the Song Guide Woman and the communication experiences of the Song Guide Woman when working as a Song Guide Woman. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The informants consisted of 6 female guides who were selected using the Snowball technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. This study uses interactive data analysis techniques that include three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the motives of the Song Guide Woman choose to work as a Song Guide, namely, past motives (because motives), hobbies in the nightlife, broken families, economic factors and the high cost of living and (In Order to Motive) motives. In the future (the goal) is to get additional costs, look for a decent life. After the research, it was found that the categories of female song guides are female song guides and mami, who are in charge of female song guides
