Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the management of the Goebok Creative Art Studio in Cinta Damai Village, Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The theory used in this study is George R Terry (2011: 10) in which in this theory management has four basic management functions, namely (i) planning, (ii) organizing, (iii) implementing and (iv) monitoring. The method used in this study used descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, displaying data, verifying data. The results of the management process of the Goebok Creative art gallery are as follows: at the planning stage, the Goebokcreative art studio plans a training schedule program, plans a program for recruiting new members, the program holds events every year, while at the organizing stage, the Goebokcreative Art Studio has an organizational structure that is formed into management the studio, at the implementation stage the Goebokcreative Art Studio is able to carry out and follow the various plans that have been made in a year with satisfactory results, at the supervision stage the Goebokcreative Art Studio is carried out by the head of the Studio and the studio trainers.
