Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance accountability of the Riau Province Fisheries and Marine Service through the Value For Money method. The type of research used by the researcher is qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. The data obtained is a Performance Report of the Riau Province Fisheries and Maritime Service Government Agencies for 2020-2021. The results of the study indicate that the performance accountability of the Riau Province Fisheries and Marine Service in 2020-2021 has not met the Value For Money principle. In 2020 the results of the economic calculation of 96.38% are declared economical, the efficiency calculation is 97.29% declared inefficient, the effectiveness calculation is 128.38% declared effective. In 2021 the results of the economic calculation are 92.29% declared as economical, the efficiency calculation is 104.21% declared efficient, and the effectiveness calculation is 90.61% declared ineffective. Thus, the performance accountability of the Riau Province Fisheries and Marine Service has not fully met the Value For Money principle.
