Abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of cocoa husk compost and NPK Grower on honey gourd (Cucurbita moschata) production. The study was conducted at the Riau Islamic University Agrotourism which lasted for 4 months from March to June 2022. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was cocoa husk compost which consisted of 4 levels, namely 0, 125, 250 and 370 g per plant. The second is NPK Grower which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 5, 10 and 15 g per plant. Parameters observed were age of flowering, percentage of pistil into fruit, age of harvest, number of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per fruit and weight of fruit per plant. The research data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of cocoa husk compost and NPK Grower had a significant effect on flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per fruit and fruit weight per plant. The best treatment was a combination of cocoa husk compost 375 g per plant and NPK Grower 10 g per plant. The main effect of cocoa husk compost was significant on all parameters with a dose of 375 g per plant. The main effect of NPK Grower has a significant effect on all parameters. The best treatment with a dose of 10 g/plant.
