Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the application of Good Governance in E-KTP Services in Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. There are four (4) indicators used by this author, namely: Transparency, Accountability, Participation, and Effective and Efficient. The type of researcher located in Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency, used descriptive analysis research methods with a qualitative approach. Where the researcher went directly to the Mandau District Population UPTD office in order to get the existing problems based on actual facts when researching using a descriptive survey research type with interviews, observations and documentation as a means of collecting data. The technique of taking research informants was carried out using purposive sampling, namely the method of determining informants on the basis of certain criteria or considerations, namely through people who were directly involved in the E-KTP service in Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the implementation of Good Governance in E-KTP Services in Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency is still not going well this is due to lack of socialization from the population UPTD, lack of performance and number of staff and lack of tools to be used in making E-KTP. The input and suggestions of researchers in this study are to the UPTD for population to further improve its performance in carrying out its duties and functions so as to create satisfaction for the community.
