Abstract

Village community institutions have not been maximized in the administration of village governance as a form of coordinating the achievement of community service activities in the village. The Neighborhood Association carries out its duties to assist the Village Head in conducting population data collection at the Village level, but the data collection activities are still not felt by the community so that migrants, relocations, births and deaths have not been fully recorded. The RT of Terentang Manuk Village assists the Village Head in providing population data, which cannot be separated from the achievement of the tasks to be achieved through Effectiveness, Efficiency, Sufficiency, Equity, Responsiveness, and Accuracy. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that hindered the evaluation of the Neighborhood Association Tasks in Terentang Manuk Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the Neighborhood Association of Terentang Manuk Village in carrying out their duties to assist the village head in providing population data had not been carried out optimally where there are still people who have not been recorded, ranging from immigrants, moving, giving birth and dying, This is because there is no routine population data collection activity by the Neighborhood Association so that the population data is mostly data from the previous year and there is no collaboration with village communities in providing population information, especially migrants and relocations. However, the authors suggest that the RT of Terentang Manuk Village conduct population data collection on a regular basis every day so that migrants, migration, births and deaths are recorded, as well as provide socialization to the community to report especially immigrants, and cooperate with the RT with the community in providing population information.
