Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the efforts of tahfizh teachers in developing the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an of Madrasah students Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Islamic Center Al-Hidayah Kampar. which method used in this study is a qualitative case study. On technique data collection used is interview and documentation techniques. The subjects in the study were Tahfizh teachers, students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah students Pondok Pesantren Islamic Center Al-Hidayah Kampar namely Ustadzah Nurhidayah, S.H, which became the object of research, was the efforts of Tahfizh teachers in develop the ability to memorize the Qur'an. As for the results of the study this is spending time depositing, carrying out muroja'ah, giving rewards for students, various memorization techniques, prioritizing makhorijul letters, and manners in everyday life.
