Abstract

Coordination is the adjustment of each part and the effort to move and operate the parts at a suitable time so that each part can contribute the most to the overall result. The coordination carried out by the subdistrict head of Rokan Hulu regency. The problem that arises is the sub optimal role of the subdistrict head in coordinating the maintenance of public facilities in the Ujung Batu sub district, so the purpose of this study was to determine the role of the sub district head in coordinanting the maintenance of public infrastructure and facilities in the Ujung Batu subdistrict of Rokan Hulu Regency. This type of research is a qualitative approach with a research location in Ujung Batu Subdistrict, Rokan Hulu Regency. Types and sources of data used are primary data and secondary data, while data collection is through observations, interviews, and research documentation. After the data is obtained and then grouped according to its type, then the data is analyzed and linked with theories in the form of a description so that conclusions can be drawn. Based on the result of research in the Ujung Batu subdistrict of Rokan Hulu Regency, the subdistrict head has done so by communicating with all vaillage heads in the Ujung Batu subdistrict, with the Military Command, and also with the Police. Coordinating conducted by each village head was asked to report on what infrastructure and facilities were damaged in their respective villages. Subdistrict head of Ujung Batu has coordinated with the head of the maintance department of maid service. However, the sibdistrict head only communicated with the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Rokan Hulu Regency head only and there were no reports the Rokan Hulu district head.
