Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the combination of maggot flour (H. illucens) and cassava leaf meal ()on M. Utilissimathe survival and growth of quail (Anabas testudineus). The method used is a completely randomized design (CRD) method with 5 treatments and 3 replications, namely P1 = 100% Maggot Flour. P2= Maggot Flour 75% + Cassava Leaf Flour 25%. P3= Maggot Flour 50% + Cassava Leaf Flour 50%. P4= Maggot Flour 25% + Cassava Leaf Flour 75%. P5= Cassava Leaf Flour 100%. The results showed that the best treatment in P2 treatment was by giving 75% Maggot Flour + 25% Cassava Leaf Flour, which resulted in 86.7% survival of quail fry, at an absolute weight growth average of 0.13 g, at an average length growth of 0. ,42 cm, the average daily weight growth is 0.36 g, and the feed conversion is 1.40. The water quality in this study supports the maintenance of quail fry with temperatures ranging from 27-300 C, pH 6.00, dissolved oxygen content between 4.0-4.5 mg/L, while ammonia content between 0.57-0, 92 mg/L.
