Abstract

The work of red ginger slicer is one of the routines in small business production kitchens which are usually done manually. Red ginger will be sliced using a sharp knife, if it is not careful in slicing red ginger, it can cause the fingers to become sliced. In addition, the productivity of conventional slicing is very low so it is not suitable when applied to an attempt at slicing red ginger, therefore a tool that can slice red ginger is needed quickly. Red ginger slicer uses a DC motor supplied from the battery. This tool is designed with the driving force that originally used the hand and then replaced by using a DC motor. Red ginger slicer is one tool that aims to facilitate the work of slicing red ginger. Get the power needed for slicing red ginger. Determine the working mechanism of the ginger merh slicer. The results of this red ginger slicing tool can slice red ginger well. That can produce 193 grams in 1 minute so that in 1 hour 11.58 kg. voltage of 12.5 V, and current of 0.35 A, power of 4.375 Watt .
