Abstract

Correlation and Contribution Portfolio Assessment Against Habits Of Mind Students SMAN Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted with the aim to know the correlation and contribution of portfolio assessment to the habits of mind of SMAN Pekanbaru students. Habits of mind or intelligent behavior is important for students because it has a habits of mind. The use of portfolio assessment in the learning process is expected to trace the habits of mind. The research was conducted on the students of class XI at six SMAN Pekanbaru City. The research design used was "The One-Group Pretest-Postest Design". Correlation data was obtained by correlating each component of the portfolio assessment obtained from the student questionnaire with the result of N-gain habits of mind. To calculate correlation using Pearson/Kendal and Spearman correlation formula. The results showed that there was a correlation between the assessment of portfolio to the significant increase of HoM (where sig value of a value) with very low relation category with the contribution value of 1.15%. Based on the results of research can be concluded that there was a correlation between the assessment of portfolio to increase HoM.
