Abstract

This study purpose to analyze the effect of work stress on employee performance with workload as an intervening variable at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia Branch Pekanbaru. The number of samples in this study were 38 respondents using a purposive sampling technique in PKBM and Engineering divisions. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, observations and interviews with related parties. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS version 3.0 for windows. The results of this study indicate that work stress partially and simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on employee performance indirectly through the workload of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia Branch Pekanbaru.
