Abstract

This study aims to find out the Duties of the Department of Tourism and Culture in the Development of Muara Takus Temple Tourism Object of the Kampar Regency Government. The assessment indicators used include Facilities, Coordination, Coaching. This type of research located in the Tourism and Culture Office of Kampar Regency is a descriptive survey, which prioritizes the list of questionnaires as a means of collecting data and data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing the Duties of the Tourism and Culture Office in Developing Temple Attractions Muara Takus Kampar Regency Government. There are two population groups and the sample in this study is that employees number 4 people and visitors number 20 people. The types and data collection techniques used consist of, primary data collected using questionnaire list techniques and interviews and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is by using a frequency table tool. Based on this analysis technique the researcher assessed and concluded that the Implementation of the Office of Tourism and Culture in the Development of Muara Takus Temple Tourism in the Kampar Regency Government was in the "Enoughly Implemented" assessment category. Recommendations that need to be considered especially, carry out tasks in the development of tourism objects, increase staff resources in developing tourist sites, and also equip facilities that can advance Muara takus Temple tourism objects, so that tourists can visit the country and abroad. Muara Takus Temple tour located in District XIII Koto Kampar Kampar Regency.
