Abstract

Village development is one of the most important elements in development, so that the accuracy of targets in development is needed. In order to obtain sustainable village development and conform to community needs, a coordination between all elements of the community is needed starting from planning, implementing, utilizing, and evaluating it. Where development is currently being carried out in Sungai Cina Village, there are several development problems that often occur and continue to be repeated, especially on the accuracy of development targets and also the quality of the development, so that the existing development becomes less qualified. The purpose of the study was to determine the Implementation of Participatory Development Coordination by the Head of Sungai Cina Village, Rangsang Barat District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency. To find out the obstacles to the Implementation of Participatory Development Coordination by the Head of Sungai Cina Village, Rangsang Barat District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population is the village administration, the Sungai Cina community and the sampling uses census techniques and purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation After the collected data is then grouped according to type, then the data is analyzed quantitatively. Based on the results of the research and discussion it was concluded that the Implementation of Participatory Development Coordination by the Head of the Sungai Cina Village in Rangsang Barat District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency was in the good category as a whole. Factors that become obstacles to the coordination of development in Sungai Cina Village from the results of the study found that a) development planning runs only based on the wishes of the village government; communication links become less harmonious, d) intense coordination can only be done with the village secretary or developmental framework.
