Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of training and work discipline on employee performance at the Office of Industry and Trade of Riau Province. The population in this study were 218 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling method. The sample used was 69 respondents. The research data was obtained from direct interviews with related parties according to the research objectives, questionnaires and literature studies. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression test, t test and f test, and determination test (R2). Based on the results of the study, partially training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, work discipline also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results showed that training and work discipline had a positive and significant effect simultaneously on employee performance at the Office of Industry and Trade of Riau Province.
