Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and describe the transparent implementation and accountability of financial management in the government of the Pulau Burung village and to find out and analyze the financial management of the Pulau Burung village for the development of community welfare. From these problems the authors conducted research using qualitative methods that emphasized data sources obtained through primary and secondary data, data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews, observation and documentation and analyzed using qualitative prescriptive methods. From the results of the research and analysis, it can be concluded that financial management in the Pulau Burung village government is not yet transparent and accountable and has not been carried out in accordance with statutory regulations. And the vision mission program and the development program in the Bird Island village have not been realized properly because the coordination and system made by the village government is not optimal so that it impacts development and finance for the welfare of the community, besides that the implementation program and development finance have caused many people to complain about the running of the program. the principles of accountability and transparency, moreover the community and the poor find it difficult to obtain information from development programs and village financial management.
