Abstract
Women are a group in society that has been increasingly participating in various fields of activity at the social and organizational levels. Therefore, the presence of women in the leadership environment shows a progressive attitude from leading an organization. It should be noted that the difference in leadership styles between men and women is that women tend to involve participation with other people (democracy), while men emphasize more in commanding ways (directives). Communication styles faced by female leaders in the Social Service for disaster victims in Pekanbaru City, there are several services implemented by the leader which include: data and complaint services, recommending assistance for people with disabilities, recommendations for collecting money and goods for those who need assistance, basic services disasters (clothing, spiritual and social) and so on. The theory used in this study is qualitative using triangulation which refers to the concept of masculine-feminine leadership. The data collection technique in this study was using triangulation techniques, including interviews, observations and documentation based on existing data sources. The results of this study are the communication style of female leaders at the Disaster Social Protection Service which is used is a masculine-feminine leadership style. Masculine leadership style which includes Assertive, and Task Oriented. And feminine leadership style which includes Charismatic, Team Oriented and Protective. The implementation of time management called on calling 24 hours, which means that leaders are required to be prepared to carry out their duties.
