Abstract
The teacher's communication ability is an ability possessed by the teacher in carrying out the teaching and learning process, because communication becomes an important thing in learning, if the communication provided is less effective, it will reduce student learning motivation so that their achievement will decrease. One of them is a class XII student at SMAN Bernas Binsus, Pelalawan Regency. So researchers are interested in researching at SMAN Berna Binsus. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the teacher's communication skills significantly influence the learning motivation of class XII students at SMAN Bernas Binsus. The population and sample in this study were class XII students at SMAN Bernas Binsus. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire or questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used SPSS 26. The results of this study indicated that the results of the analysis obtained a significance value of less than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05, so the hypothesis in this study was accepted. This means that there is an influence of the teacher's communication skills on the learning motivation of class XII students at SMAN Bernas Binsus, Pelalawan Regency. The level of influence of the teacher's communication ability on the learning motivation of class XII students in Pelalawan Regency can be seen from the probability of the correlation coefficient value (R) of 0.742 or 74.2%, this means that there is a strong relationship between teacher communication skills on the learning motivation of class XII students of SMAN Bernas Binsus Pelalawan Regency.
