Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of the Siak Regency Trade and Industry Office using the concept of value for money. This type of research is a quantitative research. The research used documentation and interview data collection techniques. The data sources used in this research from secondary data. The data taken is in form of performance report the Siak Regency Trade and Industry Service for the 2019 and 2020 periods. The data analysis technique carried out is descriptive analysis. The results of this research that the financial performance of the Siak Regency Trade and Industry Office in 2019 and 2020 in terms of economic, efficiency and effectiveness ratio has not met the principle of value for money. In 2019, the results of the economic calculation of 98.88% were declared quite economical, cannot be given an assessment of efficiency calculations because the data is incomplete, the calculation results of more than 100% were declared effective. In 2020 the economic calculation with the results of 91.38% is declared quite economical, the efficiency calculation is 103.41% is declared inefficient, the effectiveness calculation with the calculation result is more than 100% is declared effective. Then the performance of the Department of Trade and Industry of Siak Regency is declared to have not met the principle of value for money.
