Abstract

This study of determine the learning difficulties of students in the subject of Cultural Art (Musical Art) Class X RPL at SMK PGRI, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City T.A 2021/2022. According to the KBBI (2016) difficulty is a difficult situation or something difficult. While learning according to the KBBI (2016) is a change in behavior and responses caused by experience. The theory of learning difficulties used in this paper is according to Slameto (2010: 54) the factors that influence learning are two groups, namely internal factors such as physical, psychological and external factors such as family, school, and community. The method used is descriptive research method using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that learning difficulties in the subject of cultural art (music) class X RPL at SMK PGRI Bukit Raya District Pekanbaru City seen that there are internal factors that affect student learning difficulties such as physical factors, namely student health, psychological Factors, namely intelligence problems., lack of attention, interest in cultural arts subjects (music arts), and talent. Meanwhile, from external factors, there are factors thet influence such as family factors, namely the home atsmosphere factor, and the family economy. School factors are teaching methods, realtions between student, learning tools, learning methods and school time. From commucity factors, there are factors of student activities in the community, and friend to hang out with.
