Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the existing management in the Dara Sialang Dance Studio, Ukui District, Pelalawan Regency. The theory used in this study is the theory of Hamali, et al (2019) about the management process. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method using qualitative data, namely the research is carried out by approaching the object under study to obtain accurate data. The technique used in data collection in this study is the technique of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and data verification. Based on the results of the study, the Dara Sialang Dance Studio has run the organization quite well which can be seen from the planning of activities to be carried out such as planning the goals (vision and mission) of the organization, providing facilities and infrastructure, rules and regulations of the studio, acceptance of new members, schedule exercises, training methods and materials, participation in certain events, and budget. The organization at the Dara Sialang Dance Studio can be seen by the formation of an organizational structure that serves to clarify the duties and responsibilities of all the management of the studio. Directions at the Dara Sialang Dance Studio can be seen from the implementation of activities that have been planned and organized previously. The motivation at the Dara Sialang Dance Studio can be seen from the opportunities given to all studio members to actively participate in events and jobs. The control at the Dara Sialang Dance Studio can be seen from the evaluations carried out during practice and after training, before and after the performance
