Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes through modification of the volleyball game using the basic technique of passing down in class VIII Mts AL-Muhajirin Tapung. The type of research used in this research is using classroom action research (CAR), in this study the research subjects used were all students of class VIII.B Mts AL-Muhajirin Tapung, amounting to 25 students consisting of 11 boys and 14 girls. Based on the results of data processing that has been carried out in the first cycle, there are 9 students who reach the KKM (36%) and there are 16 students who have not reached the KKM (64%). So this research was continued by carrying out the second cycle and got the results as many as 23 students who reached the KKM (92%) and there were 2 students who had not reached the KKM (8%). Thus it can be concluded that there is an improvement in the basic technique of passing down using a modified volleyball game in class VIII.B students of Mts AL-Muhajirin Tapung
