Abstract

This study analyzed the Business Performance and Participation Level of KUD Manunggal Members in Bandar Padang Village, Siberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. This study aims to analyze (1) the characteristics of members, management and employees of KUD Manunggal, (2) business performance consisting of MEL and METL KUD and (3) the level of participation of members of KUD Manunggal in Bandar Padang Village, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. This research was conducted using a survey method. The research was carried out at KUD Menunggal located in Bandar Padang Village, which was carried out for 6 months, from April 2021 to August 2021. The respondents were 30 members, 3 administrators and 9 employees at KUD Manunggal.The results of the study (1) the average age of members is 39 years, the management is 35 years old and the employees are 36 years old. The average education level of members is 9 years, all of the management are undergraduate and employees are 13 years old. Farming experience of members 12.57 years, management 7.67 years and employees 6.38 years. The average income of members is Rp. 81,602,057.28/year, management is Rp. 34,800,000/per year and employees are Rp. 30,000,000/year. The Village Unit Cooperative called the Manunggal Village Unit Cooperative which was founded on March 10, 1998 with a total of 557 members, which is located in Bandar Padang Village. The Manunggal Village Unit Cooperative Office (KUD) is located in Bandar Padang Village, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The number of management in KUD Manunggal currently is 3 people, 9 employees, group leader 14 people and 556 members. The organizational structure consists of the builder/village head, RAT, supervisors, administrators, collaborator of the palm oil unit, savings and loan units, group leaders and members of the Manunggal KUD. (2) MEL created by KUD Manunggal, MEL selling FFB amounting to Rp 13,361,657.28/year. MEL sales of fertilizers amounted to Rp. 3,733,333.33/year (urea), Rp. 13,946,666.67/year (MOP), Rp. 5,400,000/year (TSP) and Rp. 4,485,000/year (KIESTRIE). MEL from the sale of herbicides Rp 134,750/year (Graymaxon) and Rp 235,516.65/year (Gampur). MEL savings and loans of Rp. 13,266,666.67/year. (3) The level of participation of KUD Manunggal members in decision making, implementation of cooperative activities and services, evaluation of member participation programs is good, and participation in rights and obligations is very good. However, there are some that are not good, namely, activeness in conducting savings and loans cooperatives and increasing member income (member welfare).
