Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the New Intrauterine Device Family Planning (KB) program at the Bantaian Public Health Center, Batu Hampar District, Rokan Hilir Regency in 2018-2020 as well as the inhibiting factors for program implementation. The research variable is the Evaluation of the New Intrauterine Device Family Planning (KB) program which consists of six policy evaluation indicators, namely: Effectiveness, Efficiency, Adequacy, Equitable, Responsiveness and Accuracy. The research method used is a qualitative research method. The informants in the study were government officials in charge of implementing the New Intrauterine Device Family Planning (KB) program at the Bantaian Public Health Center, Batu Hampar District, Rokan Hilir Regency in 2018-2020 and also the community/fertile age couples (PUS) Batu Hampar District. From the results of the study, it is known that the implementation of the New Intrauterine Device Family Planning (KB) program at the Bantaian Public Health Center, Batu Hampar District, Rokan Hilir Regency in 2018-2020 was not carried out properly with the level of achievement is still nil (0%) or there is no MKJP Intrauterine Device KB service ( IUD) to family planning acceptors in Batu Hampar District, Rokan Hilir Regency in 2018-2020. The non-achievement of the target for the implementation of the MKJP Intrauterine Device (IUD) KB program in Batu Hampar District in 2018-2020 was due to a lack of public understanding and also the negative response of the community to the use of the Intrauterine Device (IUD) Long Term Contraception Method (MKJP). The lack of trained midwives at the Bantaian Public Health Center and Family Planning Field Extension Workers (PLKB) in Batu Hampar District and the implementation of the New Intrauterine Device (IUD) Family Planning Program have not been fully implemented evenly among the community. For this reason, it is hoped that the Regional Government of Rokan Hilir Regency will pay more attention to the needs of Human Resources in the implementation of the New Intrauterine Device Family Planning (KB) program and also increase the implementation of extension activities for the New Long-Term Contraception Method (MKJP) Family Planning (KB) New Intrauterine Device (IUD). ) to the community in an effort to make the program successful.
