Abstract

In terms of accelerating the empowerment of Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, the Office of Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of Rokan Hilir Regency and other stakeholders in synergy have carried out various developments for Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises located in the Rokan Hilir Regency area which program These activities are supported through the Rokan Hilir Regency APBD and other sources of funds outside the Rokan Hilir Regency APBD. The purpose of this research is to determine the performance of the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs in Rokan Hilir Regency in fostering and supervising cooperatives in Rokan Hilir Regency. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Based on the results of the research conducted, it is known that the Cooperatives and UMKM Service have not been able to carry out routine supervision of cooperatives in Rokan Hilir Regency. In the cooperative development and supervision program, the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs in Rokan Hilir Regency does not yet have complete data on cooperatives in Rokan Hilir Regency. Meanwhile, most of the cooperatives that have been registered have not been able to submit their annual reports to the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs of Rokan Hilir Regency.
