Abstract

The development that occurred in Pekanbaru, which has been assisted by the development of infrastructure facilities and infrastructure, is one of the selling points of increasing regional investment. The development carried out basically aims to create a welfare for the people of Pekanbaru City. Pekanbaru City has indeed experienced an increase in the construction of a building but there are still some erections that are not in accordance with the provisions of the local government because there are buildings that do not have a permit to build, but can still operate. The main problem in this research is how is the implementation in granting permits to build hotel buildings in the city of Pekanbaru, and how to control permits to build hotel buildings in Pekanbaru city. While this research method is observational research by means of survey research, meaning that the researcher directly conducts research at the location of the object. While its nature is descriptive in nature, which describes in detail the object under study, namely the Right to describe and write the facts studied in the field regarding Supervision of Permits to Build Hotel Buildings in Pekanbaru City. The results show that the implementation of granting permits to build hotels in Pekanbaru City is not going well even though there are already rules governing building permits, namely the fulfillment of requirements and procedures as well as financing and completion time, but there are also those who cannot fulfill it even though the hotel have been warned up to five times to take care of building permits, and supervision of building permits for hotels in Pekanbaru City is not optimal due to human resources where the supervisory team lacks personnel to go down to the field every day, and the large number of people who do not participate in the enforcement of regional regulations, namely construction of building permits.
