Abstract

Employee performance is the result of a certain work process in a planned manner at the time and place of the employee and the organization concerned. This research is to find out and analyze the Factors Affecting Employee Performance in the Appointment and Retirement Sector at Regional Office XII of the State Civil Service Agency. The background of this research is that the coordination between the Appointment and Retirement Officers and the staffing of central and regional agencies has not been maximized in proposing technical considerations for pensions. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative research type which aims to provide a factual and accurate systematic description of the data in the field about the factors that affect the performance of employees in the field of appointment and retirement at Regional Office XII of the State Civil Service Agency. Several factors that influence the performance of Appointment and Retirement Officers at Regional Office XII of the State Civil Service Agency are Personal Factors, Leadership Factors, Team Factors, System Factors and Contextual Factors. From Personal Factors, employees' knowledge about retirement needs to be improved and their ability to analyze needs to be sharpened, from System Factors to work facilities that need improvement, from Contextual Factors to changes in the internal and external environment requiring knowledge sharing from employees affected by these changes, so that it will optimize performance Employee for Appointment and Retirement at Regional Office XII of the Personnel Agency.
