Abstract

Teachers as State Civil Apparatus in carrying out the responsibilities and duties of an educator must be able to provide a good illustration to the wider community. An ideal that can be a role model for the wider community is by exemplifying good behavior regarding work discipline. In enforcing the discipline of the Civil Apparatus, it is known that not a few State Civil Servants who have been assigned as Teachers at SMAN 1 Minas are still violating the Employee Disciplinary Regulations. The main problem related to how the implementation of ASN discipline enforcement was assigned as a teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Minas, and the inhibiting factors in the implementation of ASN discipline enforcement assigned as a teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Minas. The design of this research is observational research, which means either a survey was conducted or the research location was visited directly where interviews and questionnaires was used as the data collection instruments. Meanwhile, it was a descriptive research. The results showed that the implementation of ASN discipline that was assigned as a teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Minas was still not running optimally because there were still state civil servants assigned as teachers who violated disciplinary provisions in the form of not coming to work without a valid reason to carry out the teaching and learning process even though verbal and written warnings have been given, and the inhibiting factors in implementing ASN discipline which were assigned as teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Minas were lack of supervision of teacher performance, lack of strict sanctions given, convoluted procedures in giving punishment, and lack of awareness of the teacher in its responsibility to carry out the teaching and learning process.
