Abstract

The case of domestic violence is a serious and sensitive issue, not a few of the wives who are victims of domestic violence can survive until they finally get divorced. However, not a few domestic violence couples choose to persist and improve their relationship, as in a study conducted by Anselmus Agung Pramudito in 2021 which revealed that a husband and wife relationship with infidelity conflicts and domestic violence can maintain their marriage if they fulfill aspects of marital satisfaction. they. On this occasion the research was conducted with the aim of knowing the marital satisfaction of the wives of victims of domestic violence who have not been divorced. Respondents in this study amounted to three people, with a qualitative research method that uses a case study approach. The data collection methods in this study were in-depth interviews and non-participant observations with the type of checklist recording. The results showed that the respondents in this study maintained their marriage even though marital satisfaction was not achieved optimally. This is evidenced by the results of observations and interviews of the three respondents who have a marital satisfaction level of 44%, which means that the level of marital satisfaction is in accordance with the norms as a reference in this study. Therefore, my advice for other great women is to improve the quality of themselves to be able to sort and choose a partner in order to avoid domestic violence conflicts.
