Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the Implementation of Empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises by the Pekanbaru City Cooperatives and SMEs Office. 2020. The method used in this research is quantitative method and this type of research is descriptive research. This research is located at the Pekanbaru City Cooperatives and UKM Office. The sampling technique is the Sampling Technique, which is an informant from the Head of the Business Development and Investment Section, Meanwhile for the sample from small and medium businesses, the Random Sampling technique is used randomly, namely small and medium business actors. in 2020 as many as 30 people. Data collection techniques used in this survey consisted of primary data collected by filling out questionnaires and interviews and secondary data obtained using observation techniques. while the data analysis method used is a frequency table tool. So the results can be concluded that the research on the Implementation of Empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises by the Pekanbaru City Cooperatives and SMEs Office is "Enough Implemented." good, but there are some obstacles that are still lacking in innovation and product design development as well as a lack of online marketing knowledge also due to the pandemic which makes the empowerment program not carried out until the set time
