Abstract

Domino Higgs online gambling is included in one of the cyber crimes, according to Judhariksawan that cyber crime is an activity that utilizes a computer as a medium that is supported by a good telecommunications system, namely a dial-up system, using a telephone line, or a wireless system, by using a special antenna such as wireless. Cyber crime is also related to the term cyber space. Cyber space is seen as a world of computer-based communication. Cyber space is also considered a new reality in everyday life known as the internet. The working system of this cyber space can be said to change a distance and time that used to be limited to now become unlimited. This abuse in a cyber space is then referred to as cyber crime. Based on the above background, the formulation of the problems that will be answered in writing this thesis include: How is Law Enforcement at the Investigation Stage of the Crime of Online Gambling Domino Higgs (Domino Higgs Chip Game) in the Meranti Islands Police Legal Area and what are the inhibiting factors or obstacles that faced in Law Enforcement at the Investigation Stage of the Crime of Online Gambling Domino Higgs (Game Chip Domino Higgs) in the Legal Territory of the Meranti Islands Police? This research when viewed from the type of research can be grouped into sociological legal research or observational research. Observational research research, which is a data collection technique, where researchers make observations directly to the object of research to see from near the activities carried out. While viewed from its descriptive analytical nature, the author tries to provide a complete, detailed and clear picture of a reality related to criminal law enforcement against the crime of domino higgs online gambling (domino higgs chip game) in the jurisdiction of Riau Province. From the results of the research and discussion, the role of the prosecutor as an integrated assessment team in implementing rehabilitation policies for addicts and victims of narcotics abuse in the jurisdiction of the Batam District Attorney's Office is that the prosecutor's role is as part of the Integrated Assessment Team in implementing rehabilitation policies for addicts and victims of abuse. narcotics drugs by providing recommendations based on the results of the assessment and analysis whether a person can be rehabilitated medically or socially or not is not only limited to addicts who report themselves, but addicts and victims of narcotics abuse whose cases are examined by law enforcement, namely those who are arrested, caught red-handed, suspects , defendants, convicts and convicts.
