Abstract

Go-Ride is an online motorcycle transportation service. By using Go-Ride, consumers can find it easier and faster to get to their destination. The positive effects provided by Go-Ride on the community are transportation costs that tend to be economical, travel time efficiency is easy and practical, security is maintained when being a passenger, and gets courteous service. This study aims to determine public opinion on the Go-Ride service in Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The theory used is the theory of opinion from Soemirat and Ardianto (2005) with careful elements, namely belief, attitude and perception. This research uses a qualitative approach. In this study the subjects were 7 people. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that public opinion on the Go-Ride service in Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City was good. This can be seen from the sources who said that the motorbikes used by Go-Ride are in a good category, and Go-Ride's response is also very good in handling customers, Go-Ride can compete with other online motorcycle taxis, Go-Ride drivers have an attitude and taste. good safe. Fees received when using the Go-Ride and the appropriate fees are responsible for the safety of the Go-Ride customer and driver.
