Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work ethic on performance through work motivation as an intervening variable (case study of PT Gandrerah Hendana Pelalawan office employees). The population in this study were 40 employees. Sampling using the census method so that all the population was used as a sample in this study, namely 40 people. The types and sources of data are primary and secondary data, while the data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires, interview and documentations. Data analysis in this study was quantitative with the Partial Least Square (PLS) statistical method. The results of this study indicate that work ethic has a positive and significant effect on performance through work motivation as an intervening variable for case studies on employees of the PT Gandaerah Hendana Pelalawan office. The level of relationship between the two variables is strong and indirectly influenced by the intervening variable, which means that the independent variable in explaining the dependent variable is good through the intervening variable.
