Abstract

In this pandemic period, parental involvement is very influential on children’s learning. Especially in children’s learning which is being done online where parents will be involved in children’s learning, such as helping children do their work, as a place for children to learn, explaining and providing explanations abaout the material being carried out, give a good response to learning from school. Data were obtained from parents of students who were carrying out online learning. In this study, the data obtained in the field used observational interview tecniques. The research method used in this study is qualitative research with a case study approach. The results of research on parental involvement in online learning during the covid 19 pandemic indicate that various forms of parental involvement in online learning are peoviding a comfortable atmosphere for students, accompanying children learning from home, guiding and asvising children, and communicating with teachers.
