Abstract

The act of robbery in the community is very frightening for the community in the lives and activities of public road users. The dynamics of the Fear Of Crime robbers have not been resolved because of the lack of police security activities in taking firm action. The purpose of this study was to identify and provide an overview and to know the inhibiting factors of the Dynamics of Fear of Crime Against Begal in Rural Communities x Kampar Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The discussion that the dynamics of Fear of Crime by the apparatus has not been maximized through patrol activities, guarding every crime-prone area, and taking firm action against robbers so that it is disturbing the people who use public roads. The results showed that the handling of robbery cases on public roads in Desa x Kampar Regency was not optimal, causing excessive fear for the community. The author suggests to the police to carry out routine patrols on public roads, maintain security in crime-prone locations, and take firm action against criminals and cooperate with the community in dealing with robbers.
