Abstract

The hospital as one of the units belonging to the regional provinces that provides health services to the community has a strategic role in accelerating the improvement of community health status. Therefore, regional general hospitals are required to provide quality and professional services, so that they can reach all levels of society. But in fact there are still quite a lot of people who complain about the slow service provided, especially for class III. From these conditions the authors want to see the evaluation of inpatient health services in the general hospital Arifin Ahmad area. From the above problems, the authors can formulate the formulation of the problem in this study, namely how the implementation of inpatient health class III Edelweiss room in the general hospital Arifin Ahmad area. This type of research is qualitative descriptive conducted at Arifin Ahmad Hospital, Riau Province, data collection techniques are carried out through interviews and documentation. There were 5 people who were used as informants in this study, namely the head of the room, health workers, and inpatients. The theory used in this research is the theory of evaluation proposed by William Dunn including: Effectiveness, Adequacy, Equity, Responsiveness, Accuracy, Efficiency. Based on the research results, the services provided by the hospital are quite maximal. However, there are services that still lack quality in providing facilities so that patients are not satisfied.
