Abstract
The background in this research started by Al-Qur’an and hadith learning achievement problem happened to students at MIN 3 Pekanbaru and needed teacher’s efforts in solving it. The method in this research used qualitative by using case study approach. This research involved three persons of Al-Qur’an hadith teachers as informant and used interview as data collection technique, also it was analyzed by using qualitative analysis. Then, it could be stated as a research findings that the efforts of Al-Qur’an Hadith teachers in improving students’ learning achievement at MIN 3 Pekanbaru as follows: familiarize the students to improve their capability through high learning activity adaptation; giving point to students who did not finish their homework; giving rewards for achievers students; giving punishment to students who did not create the task and breaking the rules; guiding students who lack of understanding the lesson. The conclusion could be stated that there was effort of Al-Qur’an Hadith teacher in improving students’ learning achievement at MIN 3 Pekanbaru, by applying habit, giving point, reward, punishment, and guidance.
