Abstract

At this time the development and progress of the flow of economic globalization is growing very rapidly. Especially in the field of land transportation. In the agreement system used in car rental, namely renting and using a written agreement system that is used as a rule. In practice car rental agreements do not all go well. There are still defaults made by tenants in terms of car rental agreements. In this case, the tenant who defaults is required to be responsible because it is an obligation for the tenant who is in default. As for this research, it was carried out by raising the main problem, namely regarding the Default Settlement Efforts by the Tenant in the Implementation of Car Rentals at CV. The blessing of Rizqy Auto Rent in Pekanbaru City, and the second the Obstacles Faced by CV. Rizqy Auto Rent's Blessing in Resolving Default Problems. This study uses the type of Sociological Research, namely the collection of data obtained from interviews with the tenants and those who rent out. While the nature of this research is descriptive, that is, it provides a clear and detailed description of an event that occurs related to the settlement of default in the implementation of a car rental agreement at CV. Blessings Rizqy Auto Rent Pekanbaru. From the results of the study, it is known that the Settlement of Default by the Tenant in the Implementation of Car Rental at CV. The blessing of Rizqy Auto Rent in Pekanbaru City is the Settlement of Default in the Car Rental Agreement between the Renter and CV. The blessing of Rizky Auto Rent Pekanbaru is carried out in a non-litigation or familial manner by contacting the tenant and solving the problem well together. And the obstacles faced by the tenants are based on the fact that the tenant does not fully understand their rights in the rental agreement, so that the tenant feels a loss caused by the car rental company, while the obstacles experienced by the rental company are the difficulty in make efforts to resolve defaults caused by tenants, resulting in losses and hindering car rental companies from making profits.
